The logo is made up of two protective hands holding symbols of the places of worship belonging to the four main religions in Singapore.
It was the winning entry of a public competition organised by the board. The winner took home $500. The panel of judges included Mr Lien Ying Chow, Mr Seow Eu Jin, Mr Lee Kip Lin and Mr Alan Choe.
The winning entries were:

- Mr Ng Puay Chiew (3rd)
