The logo features the initials of the company and arranged to form a lightning bolt. Tuas Power was an energy generation company established in 1995 after the corporatisation of the state-owned PUB's electricity and piped gas facilities. It was formed by the government as an independent power station to complete in electricity generation with then then dominant Singapore Power.
