The set of four stamps were released as part of a campaign organised by the government through the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research (SISIR), Singapore Manufacturers' Association (SMA) and the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). It set out to instill in citizens the importance of quality and reliability to the nation's continuing prosperity.
