Made out of five lines with a peak in the middle, the logo reflects the council's goal to "help nurture the arts and develop Singapore into a vibrant global city for the arts".
The design by graphic designer David Ng beat about 430 entries to clinch the $10,000 prize. The competition was judged by 3 NAC members and 2 advisors, including Brother Joseph McNally who founded the Lasalle College of the Arts.
