In response to architect-lecturer Ling Hao's exhibition on the construction of home, graphic designer Hanson Ho of H55 appropriated the door bell of his then house to create this postcard.
The exhibition featured a house that Ling built in The Substation Garden together with 12 interior architecture students from RMIT/LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts (Singapore). During the period of the exhibition it was occupied by theatre artist Deng Fuquan.
The exhibition also included a grass wall and sound installation by artist Wang Ruo Bin and a documentary by Melvyn Seet. It was organised as part of The Substation’s annual New Criteria VII art show.
