The logo was created for the new town council established in 1991. It is made out of a stylised tree in green which reflects the estates, blue lines that symbolise a housing block, and grey words that signify a modern and dynamic community. The town council was chaired by Ho Kah Leong, the Member of Parliament for Jurong.
