A hotel opened in 1968 by the Goodwood Group and run by Cecila Seow, a Swedish-born and Swiss-educated former fashion model. Her husband was the manager of the former Marco Polo Hotel at Tanglin Road.
The hotel was replaced by a luxurious condominium project in 2002.
